E-ACT-C interacts with Adaptive Distribute Control Systems - Cross link technology ( ADCS-C ) and manages a multipurpose Self-contained oil micro Power Unit ( SPU ) as farthest field-device for positioning, sensing and tasking of quarter turn or linear, single or double acting hydraulic actuators or cylinders. Suitable for configuration with direct analog or digital hall-effect FeedBacK Sensors ( FBKS ), VOLumetric OIL sensors ( VOLOIL ) or separated positioning units, each SPU is joined to an IP 68 and FIRE RESISTANT Junction Box ( E-ACT-C-JB ) where the embedded Custom Control Unit ( E-ACT-C-CU ), with ARM® Cortex™- M 32-bit processors and real time operating system matched with two Terminal Boards ( E-ACT-C-TB ), satisfies any casualty event under Safe Return to Port ( SRtP ) Rules. Executions selection between different pump capacities, pressures range and among Fail Set (FS), Fail Close (FC) or Fail Open (FO) assures any safety condition for automatic and immediate positioning in case of power failures. Supplied in different versions according to safe, dry, hazardous or submerged areas.
