MASSO IND S.p.A has tried to create and maintain a continuous interaction between Standardization and flexibility, although these two ones seem opposite but both required.

There are several systems standards. These standards do not all fit into a monolithic form. Their inter-relationships may be complex, as some are organized in a hierarchical fashion. The heterogeneity standards, the fact that one standard has to be able to include with a number of others, is an important aspect of the system.

That’s why we have designed systems that need to be open-ended and flexible.

Flexibility doesn’t mean only “ to change”. Another type of flexibility is flexibility in use. This means that the system may be used in many different ways, serving different purposes as it is, without being changed. This is exactly what gives our system its enabling function.

According to Rules our systems are designed to ‘fail-safe’; our programmable electronic equipment is provided with self-monitoring capabilities such that hardware and functional failures will initiate an audible and visual alarm, to enabling faults to be identifiable at least down to the level of the lowest replaceable ensuring immediate availability of diagnostic information.
